daniel bayleySCR API access would be of key interest to us (digi.me).
I'm assuming this would be accessible by the patient using the NHS patient login? -

Alex Lord Admin@Dan It's worth noting that the SCR is used in "direct care" scenarios only, i.e. by clinicians, and does not presently have a citizen facing design. There are other options though, check out the "IM1 Patient interface", which you can read about here: https://bit.ly/3gOOz9L - it provides a set of interfaces retrieved from the GP records (amongst others), which are quite rich, and already have citizen facing elements.

Dr Ken LajiWe provide software for private healthcare providers (EMR and practice management). In the post COVID era, there will be an increasing need to work across boundaries to clear the huge NHS backlog of care delivery. We would like to enable our software platform users to access and update SCR to help seamless flow of information. How can we register as a provider and work with you to develop FHIR APIs for this purpose?

Tony Heap AdminKen, the SCR FHIR API is available for testing but not yet for production use - see https://digital.nhs.uk/developer/api-catalogue/summary-care-record-fhir. We'll make an announcement when it's available for production use. In the meantime, if you have any questions about the API, please contact us via https://digital.nhs.uk/developer/help-and-support.

Andy HadleyPlease stop adding features to SCR, this cuts across all local shared care records work. The API that it seems is needed is from the primary care records, ie structured GP Connect, and we do need an API to be made available for patient use, rather than suggesting diversion to the batch IM1 interface

Tony Heap Admin@Andy we have some discovery work planned in to look at this later this year. Watch this space. In the meantime, SCR remains an important part of the COVID pandemic response.

John HartleyHi whats the status on the SCR API? Is it available? I'm supporting a private provider, and that want to integrate their EPR with primary care.

Tony Heap AdminThe API is due to go live soon (it's just going through assurance to get live) but note that initially it will only be available for primary care use - at the moment we're not sure when it will be available for secondary care use. In the meantime, as an alternative you could look at GP Connect.
