Specifically we are looking to lift the existing ODS FHIR API onto the API Platform to take advantage of API platform features such as analytics and developer comms.

Mark, thanks for your implied suggestion :) - uplifting ODS is currently "under consideration" which basically means it isn't funded yet. If we do uplift it, we would almost certainly make it FHIR R4 compliant.

Linking people to organisations/sites would be a key enhancement - especially an up to date call on which GPs are at a specified practice, or where a named pharmacist is working (they move constantly, and of course sometimes have several commitments). I have suggested this. A practical challenge is the laboratory having out of date Registered GP information. Monthly updates via Trud is so 20th centuary
