Lauren CartwrightThis is vital to achieving the objective of sharing the reasonable adjustment information across different care settings. Little point in each organisation holding their own information, if not consistently recorded and shared to inform care as a whole for the patient.
It would be great to get an update on this API as this has been over two years in development already i think?
We need to gain an understanding of timescales or whether we need to look to other local ICR solutions to implement this across our local care settings.
thanks

Terrence DanielHi Lauren,
Development on the RA API has moved forward and things are now at the stage where the process is being initiated to invite suppliers to do first of type development and implementation. Current expectations are that this work is likely to run over 6 months from the time a supplier is contracted, so possibly completed by autumn.
In the meantime, the RA Flag has been delivered and is now live in NCRS, enabling for the first time, a standardised, consistent mechanism to record, flag and share reasonable adjustments nationally. The end goal remains full integration via the API, but the RA Flag in NCRS is accessible now in many settings where NCRS is currently used and NCRS is also capable of being easily integrated into local EPR systems, allowing the RA Flag to be accessed directly through an in-context link. -

Jon DevonportHi, i echo Lauren's comments regarding the importance of this API to ensure systems have ability to update as RA evolve over time. Can i ask is there is an update on the status of this please? Is the FoT development underway? are you able to advise which supplier this is with?

David FletcherThe Reasonable Adjustments Flag FHIR API has been retired.
This has being replaced by the Patient Flags FHIR API - this API will contain all Reasonable Adjustments functionality. -

Nicky JarmanHi Tony and David,
Is there an expected timescale when the Patient Flags FHIR API will be available? I have just found the Comments thread for that development and so I have added a comment there as well.
