Facility for people interested in an API to be notified of new releases

Historically it has been difficult to stay informed of API updates, particularly if these were not on TRUD.
It would help if developers could subscribe to an Api and receive email updates for when a new release is made or planned. Perhaps managed through the developer account.
The team responsible for an API should have some control over when updates are triggered to their community.

This is planned for Q2 of the 2023/4 financial year, so that's July-September 2023.

A variant on this would be to be able to subscribe to pages on the NHS Digital website and be told when the page changes, perhaps have an RSS feed.
